Splice Closure

A network makes a range of different demands on a closure. Depending which area of the network they are used in, specific characteristics are required, such as splice capacity, flexibility or speed of installation. Generally it is not possible for a closure to fulfil all these demands. Selecting the right closure is thus essential for a sustainable economic use of the network.
