With ever-increasing bandwidths and network connections to manage in data centres, there a some fibre patch cords, for example, LC, which can no longer meet the demands. A solution to this problem is MTP/MPO cables that can accommodate more fibres in one multi-fibre MTP/MPO connector, which has proven to be a practical solution for 40G/100G/400G high-density cabling in data centres. There are MTP/MPO cables available for different applications and requirements determined by function, polarity, fibre count and fibre mode.
MTP/MPO trunk cables are ideal for creating a structured cabling system.

The Zettonics TEN 1U chassis, mountable in 19" racks (other mounts available) provides user friendly and flexible connectivity when combined with Zettonics TEN cassettes, harnesses, trunks and patch cords. The simple design allows five cassettes to be loaded from either the front or rear with easy, fast and secure latching. Zettonics TEN is manufactured with industry-standard connectivity. Operators and installers benefit from Zettonics innovative push-pull design.

288 LC Fibres.
The Zettonics TEN 2U chassis can accept up to 12 modules offering 288 fibres (144 per 1 U) on a standard LC quad adaptor. Sharing many of the same components of the 1U chassis, the Zettonics TEN 2U chassis is designed for high density applications. However, high density is not simply about the number of ports per rack unit. Rather, standardisation, flexible modularity and user friendly cable management, are most important for real-world network applications.

The Zettonics TEN 0U solution is designed to allow outside rack U space installation of Zettonics TEN 0U, 1U and 2U chassis. The chassis can be mounted in a variety of positions, including top of rack and side of rack, creating multiple connections outside of rack structures.

Zettonics Cassettes

The Zettonics TEN cassettes are designed for all data centres and enterprise networks, easy to handle and fast to install. Zettonics TEN cassettes offer tool-less installation from either the front or rear. The cassettes can be housed in either 1U or 2U chassis, locked into place with a unique latching mechanism and connected to the network using Zettonics TEN trunk cables and patch cords.
Given the unique design, both front and rear adaptor plates can be modified to build a cassette that meets the requirements of your application.
The Zettonics TEN splice cassette is designed for quick and efficient installation. The removable front adapter plate enables splicing and connector loading to take place outside of the cassette. With simple fibre routing for ribbon and single fibre splices and cable entry suitable for M20 and M12 glands or 10mm copex tubing.

It is optimized for 40G QSFP+ SR4 to 10G SFP+ SR, 100G QSFP SR4 to 25G SFP-25G-SR-S optics direct connection and high-density data centre applications.

12/24 fibre MTP® micro cable assemblies designed and manufactured with low loss performance high demand network applications. They are available with standard or low loss Elite MTP® terminated on a 3mm ruggedised single jacket micro cable. These trunks are typically used in the main distribution area or the interconnection of active equipment with a backbone cabling infrastructure. Their small and compact size makes them an ideal solution for high density applications with high demands for advanced cable management and optimised airflow.

Zettonics TEN are manufactured using 50μm multimode fibre optimised for the use with 850nm VCSELS (vertical cavity surface emitting lasers). All assemblies are fully tested prior to delivery and supplied with test results. Most common connector types, configurations and lengths are available from stock, using 3mm (for additional ruggedising) or 2mm diameter cable on request. TEN patch cords are supplied with a LSZH cable jacket as standard. Non-stocked configurations (length, colour, connectors and cable type) can be manufactured to meet specific requirements.
